Mint Sets
Mint sets are similar to proof sets except they consist of freshly minted coins made for circulation at either the Philadelphia or Denver mints with the accompanying mintmark on the coins. They’re struck on special presses using greater force than circulating coins, producing a sharp, intricately detailed image with a brilliant uncirculated finish. They’re packaged in a special folder with a certificate of authenticity.
