While the $1000 Federal Reserve Notes (FRNs) are only dated 1928 and 1934, the 1934 notes were printed up until the year 1945. While these notes are still considered to be Legal Tender by the United States Government they were discontinued by the Federal Reserve in 1969 due to their "lack of use." While the face value of these notes is $1000, they maintain significant collectible value above that price.
